Carrie Schadewitz
Carrie joined North Gilliam County Health District as Arlington Family Healthcare’s Clinic Administrator in May of 2022. She brings several years of experience in the Healthcare arena to Gilliam County. Most of her work career has been in operation management and administration. She has managed several clinics in an array of Specialty Practices, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and as Executive Director of Willamette Valley Cancer Foundation in Yamhill County.
Carrie has always enjoyed working with people and building teams. “I really appreciate the integrity and passion of the staff here at Arlington Family Healthcare Clinic. I am impressed with their commitment to each patient and their wellbeing. Primary care is an important service to have available in a rural area. “It is reassuring to be a part of such an important service.” We take pride in having the opportunity to offer primary health care here in Gilliam County. Carrie has always enjoyed helping others and has a tremendous amount of respect and admiration for seniors. Making a differnece one patient at a time by helping them navigate todays healthcare system ansd services. “They have lived full lives and have experienced so much. Carrie Is a native Oregonian who grew up in a rural area on a small family farm located on the Siletz River. She moved to the Dalles in the early 80’s where she raised her family. In 2006 Carrie and her family relocated to McMinnville Oregon where Carrie started her career in Healthcare with Willamette Valley Clinics and Willamette Valley medical Center. Years later they decided to move back to the Columbia River. Seeking a slower paced life, they built a home in Arlington. “It is nice to be back by the river."
When Carrie is not at work you will most likely see her working in her garden, fishing or spending time with her family and children.
